Massage is an excellent method to improve lymph movement and blood flow. In turn, massage aids in getting cellular waste products and accumulated toxins out of tissues, into the bloodstream, and to the kidneys where they are eliminated in urine.

Experts estimate that upwards of ninety percent of disease is stress-related. And perhaps nothing ages us faster, internally and externally, than high stress. Massage is an effective tool for managing this stress, which translates into:

  • Decreased anxiety.
  • Enhanced sleep quality.
  • Greater energy.
  • Improved concentration.
  • Increased circulation.
  • Reduced fatigue.

Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy

The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy was founded and developed by Dr. Rosita Arvigo, who studied with many traditional healers including Don Elijio Panti. This modality is an external, non-invasive manipulation that repositions abdominal and reproductive organs that have shifted out of alignment, thereby restricting the flow of blood, lymph, nerve and chi. The work is primarily done on the abdomen, repositioning the hips and releasing the pelvic floor muscles. The Arvigo® practice incorporates a holistic approach to wellness involving herbology, nutrition, massage, and spiritual healing in order to achieve optimal health. The practice also emphasize the client’s responsibility for their own health and healing.

About Jessica

"While attending the University of Idaho, I was driving around town and saw a massage school and thought to myself, “I’ll do that.” I didn’t know anything about massage but I knew it was what I was supposed to do. Massage picked me. After graduating and becoming licensed in 2002, I worked at various spas in Eastern Washington and Southwest Florida. I moved back to the Northwest and worked for Dreamclinic for almost 5 years.  While in Florida I did additional training in Ashiatsu Oriental Bar therapy and cupping. I also worked for a reproductive endocrinologist for 7 years and found a love of helping men and women start their families. In 2017 my love of bodywork and fertility took me to Belize to become a certified practitioner in the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy, training with Dr. Rosita Arvigo herself. "
